I am a licensed psychotherapist practicing in New York City. I received my B.A. from McGill University, and my MSW from the Columbia University School of Social Work. I am currently employed full-time at the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center in Chelsea, which serves the LGBTQIA community and individuals living with HIV. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and am the leader of Callen-Lorde’s DBT team. Prior to working at Callen-Lorde, I worked in outpatient psychiatry at Mt. Sinai St. Luke's Hospital. I also maintain a private practice in Manhattan, with an office near Herald Square.
I recently completed a two-year postgraduate training program in contemplative psychotherapy at the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science, synthesizing traditional Buddhist psychology and meditation practices with contemporary neuroscience and Western psychotherapy.
